You should’ve used the song “Wolf Moon” by Type O Negative for this episode! If you’ve never heard it check it out. It pretty much perfectly spans that whole menstruation/werewolf thing.

Oh man. I haven’t seen the remake of Carrie but I was kinda excited when I heard it was coming out. There was a lot of stuff about bullying in the news and I thought that maybe they were going to make a movie like Carrie because of that not just for money. Yeah that was a disappointment.

The ending you guys said though, that almost made me see red. I’m more a book girl then a movie one and I love the book Carrie. Especially the ending and to mess it up by having Carrie being like, fyi Sue you’re pregnant. I can’t believe they would do that.

I always remembered in the book that as Carrie died, she looked into Sue’s mind and saw that Sue wasn’t one of the people responsible for the prom thing. Then as a gift caused her to miscarry, as that part ends with menstrual blood on Sue’s leg.

I reread parts of it recently to see if I was missing something. There was a scene that had Sue think in something that might have been horror that her period was late which I think caused me to believe that looking deep into her mind Carrie saw that and it was her final act. I admit I like the idea of her final act being something kind.

However, that opinion aside. The book does have Sue have menstrual blood flow down her leg. So whether or not it was just a pregnancy scare or something caused by Carrie, I really liked the idea the idea of the story of Carrie being bookend by menstrual blood. ….Which the new movie apparently throws out of the window because look Sue, you can be happy again. You’re going to be a teen mom!

Ugh. I’m so glad I didn’t watch that. Thanks for the awesome episode guys.
