What a fun episode! I really enjoyed it and have copied your various lists for my down-time. I’d love a deeper look at “THE SHINING” even if it was just a smack down of that silly Asher documentary.
Thank you for a thoroughly enjoyable year in review. This podcast was my first discovery of the world of non-“bro”y horror podcasts, and has led me to so many others that I love. But of all of them this is the one has brought me to the realization that an intelligent, academic discussion of horror is not only possible but essential. And that when I finally get around to finishing my Masters’ thesis it will have something to do with the representation of women in horror film. Because you really can study exactly what you love!
Thank you so much for what you do. Like you, Andrea, the last year was quite possibly the worst of my life. Without over sharing, natural disaster, anxieties around aging parents, and the death of my sister meant that distractions were not only needed but essential. You have helped to keep me sane, and I am resolved that this year will be a good one. With lots of walks and comfortable footwear.
