Andrea Subissati (Co-host)
Andrea is the Executive Editor of Rue Morgue magazine and host of Rue Morgue TV. Her masters thesis on the social impact of zombie cinema was published under the title When There’s No More Room In Hell: The Sociology of the Living Dead. Since then, she has been published in The Undead and Theology (2012), The Canadian Horror Film: Terror of the Soul (2015) Yuletide Terror: Christmas Horror on Film and Television (2017) and Scared Sacred: Idolatry, Religion and Worship in the Horror Film (2020). In addition to writing, she has appeared in the horror documentary Why Horror? (2014), CTV’s Pop Life, Banger TV‘s Locked Horns and Hollywood Suite’s A Year In Film.
Andrea stalks the streets of Toronto, Ontario, with her undead Pomeranian Dante.
Alexandra West (Co-host)
Alex is the author of Films of the New French Extremity: Visceral Horror and National Identity, The 1990s Teen Horror Cycle: Final Girls and New Hollywood Formula, and Gore-Geous: Personal Essays on Beauty and Horror. Her work has appeared in Rue Morgue, The Toronto Star, Art of the Title, and Offscreen Film Journal among others. Her passion for the analytical side of horror studies has led her to share her expertise on stages of TIFF, the Sitges Film Festival, the Miskatonic Institute of Horror Studies, Salem Horror Fest, and the Revue Cinema in Toronto. She has contributed commentaries and essays to a wide variety of film releases from Arrow, Vinegar Syndrome, Second Sight, Umbrella, Utopia, and Severin.
She lives in Toronto, Ontario with her cats Moon and Church.
Alun Davies (Editor)
Alun Davies is a travelling podcast producer, and winner of the 2025 Independent Podcast Award. He is also a musician, and travels from continent to continent teaching ukulele! He’s travelled across 6 continents, and more the 70 countries. Currently based in Tokyo, his love of podcasting spans every genre as a life spent travelling necessities many hours of audio entertainment.
Kyle Fulton (Web tech)
Kyle is a podcast producer based out of Toronto. Over the last four years, he has worked with a number of organizations to launch podcasts including the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), Boosie Fade, and Oxford University Press. His work has received several accolades, including Now Magazine’s 2017 Reader’s Choice Award for Best Podcast in Toronto, and Apple’s Best Podcasts of 2018 list. He is also the owner and operator of Left of the Dial Studios, a podcast studio in Toronto’s west end.
