Did you know there is aa porn version of A Clockwork Orange. The title is Clockwork Orgy. I haven’t seen it for a while — though I think I have a copy somewhere — but as I recall it sort of follows the plot of A Clockwork Orange. It opens in the Korova Milk Bar with Alex and her droogs posed like Alex and his droogs. The old bum gets a very different treatment than a stomping. The ending is straight out of the Kubrick film with a politician feeding Alex in the hospital then posing for the camera with a big thumbs up.
This was a different episode which I greatly appreciated. I am a bit squeamish around violence but gave this a “go.” It was worth the effort but your dialogue brought a deeper understanding of the work. I have to say THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for adding a “BLADE” episode next month (with “Constantine” – great pairing). My gratitude for what I consider the greatest podcast in North America!
